Meet our hosts

Katie Epner, Creative Content Producer is proud to call Rochester, New York home. Since 2016 she has explored and exhibited the surrounding region as Videographer and Producer for the Seneca Park Zoo and with WXXI Public Broadcasting. Katie is a huge fan of the Rochester music scene and has served as cinematographer and director of music videos for some of Rochester's most well-known bands. A skillful storyteller, she is driven by a genuine curiosity for the inner workings of the past, and the people who have carried those stories to the present. Katie is deeply embedded in the arts and culture of Rochester and the region.

Jason Milton, Senior Producer is a Rochester, New York native who has spent the past 14 years working and creating at WXXI Public Broadcasting. In addition to showcasing stories from all over New York state on countless WXXI productions, he has spent the past decade touring the country as a musician in the indie rock group The Demos. Jason is also the creator/host of the paranormal YouTube Series ‘Ghost Show.’ His career as a filmmaker and musician has been fueled by his love of travel, exploration and history with a particular focus on the strange and unexplained.
